answers1: He didn't have any children His brother killed him so his
branch didn't go any where.
answers2: The genealogy is usually listed from Adam through to Jesus.
Jesus was descended from Seth, the third son of Adam. That's why Cain
and Abel don't get a mention, because their line isn't traced to
Jesus. Cain's descendants are listed for a bit in Genesis, but that
stops happening some time before the flood of Noah's time. They
probably all died at that time. Abel isn't listed because he had no
children. It's Adam - Abel - nothing. And seeing as both their stories
are already told in the Bible, it seems sort of pointless to write and
official geneology for that line.
answers3: Abel didn't have children because he died.
answers4: Abel never had children.
answers5: The Savior did pass Abel's line.
answers6: Cain murdered Abel before Adam's third son, Seth, was born.
Cain ruled himself out of the genealogy because of what he did and God
banishing him.
Abel was ruled out o the genealogy because he died before fathering
children himself.
These genealogies need not be complete, in the sense that we like to
draw up family trees today. Their purpose is to trace a line of
descent. If a son had no descendants, he was not included, as far as I
can tell.

That might account for why Adam's line of descent in Genesis chapter 5
begins with his third son, Seth, and it goes all the way to Noah.
Chapter 5 connects God's purpose in creation with Seth's line rather
than Cain's. (The descendants of Cain are mentioned in Genesis
4:17-24.)

The Genesis genealogies are designed to contrast the ways that human
culture spread, some in rebellion against God and some in obedience to
God. In Genesis, the history of the rejected branch is generally
explained before carrying forward the line that led to Israel. But
Abel was murdered before he could contribute to that line of descent.
answers7: Because Abel did not Father any children and continue the bloodline
answers8: He didn't have any offspring.
