Would you ever have sex with someone if you knew they had and STI?

answers 0:Apparently tons of people have STI's, and I know for certain that I'd never have sex with a guy who did, so why are these people still getting laid?answers 1:they either dont noe they hand STI or they realli love them or their desperate for sexbtw i would neveranswers 2:They get laid because they don't tell people they have an STI. Therefore, the person they are sleeping with can't know for certain.answers 3:Isn't HPV curable with antibiotics?answers 4:Does HPV count? If so, then yes!answers 5:Because they don't tell their partners. Many STIs don't manifest with symptoms -- in fact, for many people they can lie dormant for years before an outbreak occurs. That is why it is important to ALWAYS use protection (including condoms/dental dams during oral sex) and make sure your partner has been tested before you get intimate. It might seem ! embarrassing to ask, but I'd rather be a little put out than get an STI because someone wasn't honest with me. Personally, I don't have to worry about this because my boyfriend and I were both virgins when we started dating, but if I'm ever single again I'm going to be extra careful about who I have sex with and the precautions I take. Would I ever have sex with someone if I knew they had an STI? Perhaps. It is possible to have safe sex when one partner has something and the other doesn't without transmitting -- I know a couple who have been together for 12 years and the guy is HIV positive (he got it from a blood transfusion in the 70's as a child) and his girlfriend is not. They have sex regularly and take great caution, and it's worked out. I'm not into the idea of casual sex, so if I were to get intimate with someone it would be because we have feelings for one another in the first place. Bottom line, only YOU can watch out for yourself. You can't trust people to be 100! % honest, so get yourself tested regularly and ensure your par! tner has been tested before engaging in sex. And ALWAYS use protection....
