Katheryn Skrobacki: That would depend on what you “most likely have at home”.I most likely have fruits/veggies but surely would not feed those to my cat, looking at me like “what’s that?”Also that would depend on the appliances you have and on your cooking skills.I’m an okay cook but “lightly toasting” anything is one of the hardest things to do, unless you watch your toaster like a hawk, wh! ich you usually don’t because you’re busy doing something else.So now you need the best toaster oven with accurate temperature control, a good timer and your knowledge which temperature to use (use the lowest one) and for how long to get anything “lightly toasted” and not burnt. Also that would depend on your knowledge about cats’ diet as cats are true/obligate carnivores and don’t need carbs as they can get energy directly from protein.Give milk/dairies to a cat and s/he’ll get diarrhea. Here’s the difference between a cat and a calf…http://www.art.com/products/p12817780934-sa-i63986...Also that would depend on your cat specific food preferences, like my current cat does not eat fish…no tuna, no salmon, no whitefish…Fish do not have the nutritional ingredients a cat needs but people having cats who actually like fish can use an occasional fish treat (not part of a regular diet of beef and poultry).Don’t go through the time consuming trouble of making ! homemade cat treats that your cat will not eat because s/he do! es not like fish and now you think the recipe was wrong or you cooked it wrong! For example, I make an awesome dish (I always get compliments and requests for the recipe) with steamed cooked fresh green beans (bought organic or picked up from my organic garden). At the end, just before serving, I toss the cooked green beans in butter for a minute (you don’t want to overcook your green beans or your butter), with crushed garlic, and lightly toasted slivered almonds (watch out your toaster oven as to not burn them or you’ll need another batch). You end up with a simple dish of green beans, almonds, garlic and butter BUT if a person does not like green beans, that person won’t like my dish…nothing personal. That would also depend on your gullibility about what you read online, specifically relating to recipes.About a cat birthday cake, it’s more for you than for your cat that does not give a crap about birthdays. You can use the block kind of wet food (which of course, w! ould be your cat’s favorite flavor) and your imagination.Don’t use candles (cats have fur and skedaddle when faced with fire) but you can use feathers instead.Decorate with kibbles (hopefully you provide your cat with the 24/7 ability to nibble on kibbles)....Show more
