Laundry guidelines?

Asley Quickle: Wash only light and only dark with warm not hot water. It's 2 piles. And new clothes by hand wash for a while. After that in the pile. Jeans are just jeans. If there aren't black - it's ok. You can wash them whenever and whatever you want.

Lucille Saetteurn: If you are a laundry novice then you should wash EVERYTHING in COLD water/COLD rinse.... Don't worry things will get clean...*Most ppl that are NEW to laundry also use too much detergent and that will fade and not rinse out properly so, use the proper amount.. .*I think you can depending on the size of the piles get away with a LIGHT PILE/DARK PILE.... *Just be sure that you don't overcrowd the washer either or your clothing won't get clean. *If you are worried about your delicates next time you go to the discount store, walmart etc.. Get acouple delicates bags to wash your bras/underwear etc... They are GREAT ! Jean*Jeans you can wash inside/out in the DARKS...Good luck...Show more

Don! nie Bolio: Use a detergent that is colour fast.Wash all your colours and whites / darks together using only warm water. Saves heaps of time.If you need to wash something that is relatively new, it would be an idea to wash (hand wash) that item separately for a time.

Simona Bulwinkle: Have a load of whites/lights/delicate or other wise wash in cold. Darks, wash in cold, jeans/towels can be washed together, cold or warm. Take care.

Loise Mausser: Well I would turn it in to 3 loads, I would make a lights, a darks, and a towel and jean load. I would wash the towel and jeans in warm to hot water, the darks in warm or cold and the lights in warm water. Make sure that you don't put anything in a load if it's brand new cause it will bleed onto some of your other clothes, so I would let that article sit in a sink of warm water for awhile before you washed it to get all the extra dye out of it first.
