Elmo Tervo: National security is an imaginary blanket that the Homeland security uses to keep people from panicking and causing problems.If we really had National Security we would close our borders to Mexico and Canada with a big fence and security checkpoints.All major sea ports would be heavily regulated and inspected.And every major gas/oil company would be heavily secured.Plus every bridge,damn,stadium,mall,tourist attractions would have heavy security and inspections every week.We are more vulnerable to attacks since this imaginary blanket of security does nothing but give the uninformed a sense of false security.Now if it means we have less freedom for more security then I rather live in more risk....Show more
